Downstream Adventures is a Colorado-based outfitter offering whitewater rafting trips on Clear Creek, the Arkansas River, and the Colorado River. Based in the mountain town of Empire, just 40 minutes west of Denver, the company is known for friendly guides, exceptional customer service, and memorable adventures for all experience levels. Clear Creek Rafting

Middle Clear Creek (Beginner): Family-friendly rafting with fun rapids and scenic canyon views.

• Duration: 3 Hours
• Minimum Age: 5

Upper Clear Creek (Intermediate): Fast-paced whitewater with exciting rapids and technical features.

• Duration: 3 Hours
• Minimum Age: 13

Lower Canyon (Advanced): A challenging advanced rafting trip with powerful rapids.

• Duration: 3 Hours
• Minimum Age: 16

Full Day Clear Creek (Advanced): Run all sections of Clear Creek in one action-packed day.

• Duration: 6–6.5 Hours
• Minimum Age: 16

Colorado River Rafting

Upper Colorado River (Class I–II): A relaxing float trip perfect for families and beginners.

• Half Day or Full Day
• Minimum Age: 3

Gore Canyon (Class V): Remote wilderness rafting with challenging rapids and incredible scenery.

• Duration: 6.5 Hours
• Minimum Age: 18

Upper Colorado Inflatable Kayak Trip: A guided solo or tandem inflatable kayak adventure.

• Half Day
• Ages 8–13+

Arkansas River Rafting

Browns Canyon (Class III): Colorado’s most popular rafting trip with exciting rapids and mountain views.

• Duration: 3.5 Hours
• Minimum Age: 7*

The Numbers (Class IV): Continuous whitewater and one of Colorado’s best adrenaline trips.

• Half Day or Full Day
• Minimum Age: 14*

Guided Fly Fishing

Wade Fishing Trips: Guided trout fishing on Clear Creek, Gore Canyon, and the Upper Colorado River.

Float Fishing Trips: Scenic float trips targeting trout on the Upper Colorado River.
