Chase was a fantastic guide for my trip down the Ocoee with recently graduated son. He brought energy, technical expertise, and a real joy for the river to our adventure. I've rafted the Nantahala a dozen times and the Upper Gauley a half dozen so I've experienced a fair share of guides. Chase is definitely among the most memorable. Highly recommend.

Chase was THE BEST GUIDE!!! We were the safety boat today. It was fun to watch everyone try not to flip or fall out. Chase is very knowledgeable about the area and the river. He was so fun. He rescued 4 people on our full day trip. 3 on 1 rope at the Olympic rapids and 1 kayaker in another set of rapids. Amazing trip. We will book with Quest and request Chase every summer. Our group of 14 had a fantastic time on the river Friday afternoon. The guide of our raft was Lily. She was awesome! She prepared us well, and gave us the adventure level we wanted. We were able to surf some hydraulics and enjoyed other adventures on the river, but very safely. We would definitely request her again.

Lily is full of passion and energy and it is contagious on the raft. From the beginning, her love for rafting is evident and she instantly gains the trust of everyone in the raft. We had an absolute blast and even took some chances with us to tryout “missions”, not everyone can do…BUT we did! Her quirky sayings to help people learn are hilarious, but effective. She’s small, but a bad a**, and I’d recommend her to anyone looking for an unforgettable experience on the river!

Our whole Quest experience was fantastic! From booking to check-in to our day on the river… Everything was great and operated like a well oil machine. Chase was our guide and he was awesome! I would go back and raft with him again. He did a great job of assessing our boat and challenging us, but keeping us all safe and having a great time. I go rafting to raft not swim… If I wanted to swim, I would go to the beach with a pool. So staying in the raft, but still having a great time is big in my book. Chase did a great job letting us surf, dunk the boat, attack, big Rapids, and all stay in the boat, we even rescued a few lost riders along the way. All in all, five stars and I highly recommend. There are lots of options on the river, do yourself a favor and raft with quest! Everyone was great, but give Chase a try for a great day!

Chase was exceptional as a guide! Second year in a row we've gone with him and he just gets better. It seems like he knows the location of every rock in the river and we were even at a higher cfs due to the rain. While he is a "fun" guide, he emphasizes safety over everything all else. He has a talent for anticipating the challenges in the river and preparing you specifically for what it will take your team to get through them smoothly. We're hoping to do a whole day next year and will definitely request him. You should too!

He took time to include everyone in our boat. He made every rapids an event and entertained us in the flat parts. He is good with kids. Request him or hope you get him. They are lucky to have him.

Our group had an amazing time rafting on the Ocoee River. All of the guides were great but our group got the best of the best – Chase! He was so knowledgeable and super fun. He was kind enough to snap a few photos of us – and dude had a broken wrist and was working with just one functioning arm!! Now that’s going above and beyond.

We went with a big group of 33 – mix of adults and kids – and everyone had a BLAST! All of the guides seemed to be super knowledgable of the river, prepared us all well, and made sure we had an awesome time. Big John was the guide for our boat, and he was fantastic! If you like adventure and the most thrills possible, Big John is your guy. Highly recommend.
