What We Offer

Guided Kayak Tours:

Full Day Tour: This 12-mile paddle through Black Canyon includes sights like the Hoover Dam, hot springs, and wildlife. The tour lasts approximately 6-7 hours on the water, with a total duration of 9-10 hours including shuttle service from the Las Vegas Strip!

Half Day Tour: A 4-mile round-trip paddle suitable for various skill levels. Participants can enjoy views of the Black Canyon, potential wildlife sightings, and historical sites. The tour lasts about 3 hours on the water, totaling 5-6 hours with optional shuttle service.

Twilight Paddle: An evening adventure featuring a 4-mile round-trip paddle starting from Willow Beach. Guests can experience a desert sunset, campfire with hotdogs and s'mores, and the tranquility of the Black Canyon at night. The tour lasts approximately 4 hours on the water, with a total duration of 5-6 hours including shuttle service.

Self-Guided Kayak Tours:

Willow Round Trip Half Day: A 4-hour self-paced paddle around the Willow Beach area, including destinations like Emerald Cove. Participants are provided with kayaks, gear, and a map highlighting recommended spots. This tour is rated as easy+, allowing kayakers to explore at their leisure.

Hoover Dam to Willow Full Day: Launch from the base of the Hoover Dam and kayak 12 miles through the stunning Black Canyon. Explore emerald waters, hidden hot springs, and desert caves on this self-guided adventure—ending at Willow Beach with a shuttle ride back. Please keep in mind this trip is labeled as athletically challenging as you will be actively paddling 12 miles with no assistance of a guide. If you're up for the adventure it's a must-do for experienced paddlers seeking epic views and serene solitude.

What to Know Before You Go

Age Limits:

Full-Day Tour: Children 16+ can use a single kayak if they have kayaking experience or are very athletic. Since it’s a long and strenuous trip, kids under 16 should be in a double kayak with a parent. We don’t recommend this tour for children under 10.

Half-Day Tour: Best for kids! Athletic kids 14+ can paddle solo, but younger children should be in a double kayak with a parent. Kids as young as 6 have joined, but if windy conditions are expected, we recommend all children use double kayaks.

What to Wear/Bring:

Quick-Dry Clothing: Wear lightweight, moisture-wicking fabrics to stay dry. Avoid cotton and jeans as they hold water.

Swimwear: Great for warm weather as a base layer and dries quickly after splashes.

Water Shoes/Sandals: Wear shoes or sandals with secure straps for easy movement on the riverbanks and in and out of the kayak.

Sun Protection: Bring sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses for full protection from the sun.

Windbreaker/Waterproof Jacket: If needed, bring a windbreaker or light waterproof jacket to protect from wind or splashes.
