Nantahala Outdoor Center (NOC) has been guiding trips on the Chattooga River since 1972. Designated a Wild & Scenic River, the Chattooga offers breathtaking wilderness and thrilling whitewater. Section 3 is ideal for families and first-timers, with fun Class II-III rapids and a splashy Class IV finish at Bull Sluice. Section 4 ramps up the action with major Class IV drops including Seven Foot Falls and the iconic Five Falls. Both trips include a scenic riverside lunch and are led by expert guides trained to the highest standards.
